From the North, take I280 South and exit at the Sand Hill Road exit. Go East
on Sand Hill Road for 3.4 miles to El Camino Real. At El Camino Real take a left and proceed North for 1.6 miles
to Valparaiso [Shell station on far right.] Just beyond Valparaiso there is an
elevated street sign for a restaurant, Gombei. Sensei’s office is recessed
from El Camino Real and next to Gombei.
From the Southwest, take I280 to Alpine Road. Go NorthEast on Alpine, continuing on Alpine as it becomes
Alameda de Las Pulgas. Alameda de Las Pulgas intersects Sand Hill Road. Take a
right turn onto Sand Hill Road and proceed approximately 1.5 miles to El Camino
Real. Turn left onto El Camino and proceed North for 1.6 miles [Shell station on
far right.] Just beyond Valparaiso there is an elevated street sign for a
restaurant, Gombei. Sensei’s office is recessed from El Camino Real and next
to Gombei.
From the Southeast (101), take Route 101 North and exit
at Willow Road. Proceed on Willow
Road to Middlefield. Turn Right, following Middlefield Northwest,
then turn left at Glenwood (2+ stop lights). Follow Glenwood for approximately
1/2 mile until it intersects El Camino Real.
At the intersection of Glenwood and El Camino turn right (Shell gas
station). If you cross El Camino Real the street continues on as Valparaiso.
After turning right on El Camino Real you should notice just beyond the Shell
gas station an elevated street sign for a restaurant, Gombei. Sensei’s office
is recessed from El Camino Real and next to Gombei.
